  • Account information and balances
  • Banking information
  • Income and expense information

If you enroll online, we will ask you to provide a password and an email address.

Free In Five's policy is to protect and preserve the nonpublic personal information of its clients. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your nonpublic information.

We will make a reasonable effort to limit the collection of information to that which is required in order to deliver quality service to you, which includes counseling you on debt management issues, reviewing your household budget and seeking acceptance of debt management proposals by your creditors. All of the information collected will be shared on a need-to-know basis within Free In Five and with Free In Five's service providers to facilitate communications with you, to perform the services authorized by the Debt Management Agreement, and to help you manage your accounts. To the extent we use any third-party service providers to assist us in providing services to you and those services require us to disclose any of your nonpublic personal information, we will require the third-party service provider to execute an agreement to protect the confidentiality of the information to the extent set forth herein. Additionally, we will share information with other non-affilitated third parties as permitted by law.

Free In Five does not sell or market its clients' nonpublic personal information to third parties without your consent. Free In Five does not report to the credit bureaus.

For the purpose of marketing analysis, we may use portions of your information for internal statistical reporting on our client base. This type of analysis would not reveal any information that would identify you personally.

We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt the transmission of any sensitive data between your computer and our servers. This technology prevents others from reading this data while being transmitted, as well as ensuring that your computer is actually talking to our servers. You can confirm that your computer is having a secure conversation by making sure that the lock or key icon on your browser (typcially in the lower right hand corner of the screen) appears "locked." Please understand that nobody can guarantee that the transmission of data over any public network is 100% secure. We use firewalls, encryption, and other methods to protect your personal information once it is on our servers.

We use cookies (alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer's hard drive) to identify your computer during the time you are on our Web site. The cookie itself never contains any personal information. When you leave our site, you may be given the option to save your session, in which case your computer will be remembered by our servers. In no case will cookies be used to log you onto our site without you entering your password first. Most browsers automatically accept cookies; however, you have the ability to disable them by modifying your browser setting. If you elect to disable cookies, the interactive features of some Web sites you visit may be affected.

E-mail technology is less secure than Web technology. Messages are sent unencrypted (plain text) which allows somebody else to read the content. E-mail makes many stops along the route from one user to another, often with copies made on intermediate servers. In addition, mistakes in typing e-mail addresses could cause your message to be routed to an unintended recipient. Because of this, please refrain from sending your password, credit card numbers, and other sensitive information through e-mail.

Please understand that your actions may unintentionally compromise the security of your personal information. There are many ways that this could occur. For example:

  • Somebody could obtain the password to your account
  • Somebody with access to your computer could read your e-mail or files
  • Somebody could find paper documents with your information
  • You could leave sensitive information on a computer that belongs to somebody else (e.g., your employer)

Free In Five reserves the right to change this privacy statement in its sole and absolute discretion. Any changes to the Free In Five Privacy Statement will be communicated through this site at least five days in advance of implementation and will apply only to that personal information collected from you after the date of implementation.
